For anyone looking to buy a tank this is what you need to read.

First off I bought my 88cf 3000psi tank for 300CDN and a fill station for 99CND. The tank is expensive but if you are out of reach of filling stations in town this is the way to go. It will cost $8 to fill the scuba tank and $5 to fill my small 68ci tank, minus the gas needed to drive to get to the filling place. This alone pays for the tank. As for performance the tank does not fill to over 3000 psi. The first fill only filled my tank to about 2800psi and drops about 100-150 psi every tank fill. So for my tank I get about 10 fills before it fills my tank under 1000 psi. There is the benefit of it being always accesible, wherever you are. The only reason you wouldnt buy one is if you always go to a field that fills air for cheap and/or your tank is a 4500psi and you want it filled to that pressure. For me it was a good investement, you run out of paint long before you do air!

Say what? We all fill our own tanks at our local field.

SHHH dont tell anyone........I will get charged and thrown in jail.

Im not stupid with it, I fill very slow instead of cranking it all the way and causing damage. I doubt someone will stop you from doing it if its your only option.

you don't have to be certified to have scuba tanks and fill your own pb tanks. we used to have 2 scuba tanks then we upgraded to a 3000 psi tank and we fill off of that and we don't have a lisence. we got shown by the guy we bought out $300 filler from and he said as long as someone with a lisence shows you then your fine.

I did the same... Having you own scuba rocks!
I got mine do 130, and 25 for the fillstation!

Now, i only pay 6 for filling my scuba, and thats a lot of fills of the pb tank!
Im so happy with it!
